5/30 SDG Initiatives in Okinawa Prefecture, Taiwan, and Korea
The students were asked to do group presentations on what they had researched on the various SDG related initiatives in their respective study trip destinations to Okinawa Prefecture, Taiwan or Korea.
Each group was given 3 minutes in which to present their findings followed by a one-minute summary. Their short presentation was to include examples and details of initiatives, background and reasons for such initiatives and about any related SDGs and their relationships. The students listening to these presentations had to complete worksheets on the other group findings.
This activity was a good opportunity to further hone their presentation and communication skills even though on this occasion they were allowed to read from their notes.
